Ok, so it's not a Russian aircraft . . .? Roll Eyes

I made this for a friend who retired from the US Air Force earlier this year.? It started out as the Italeri 1/72 scale KC-135 kit - a real beast to build.? I had to hand make many details on the engines, and the structure is reinforced with brass tube because the model apparently does not hold its own weight over time - especially the wings.

After I finish the Hasegawa 1/48 F-104G I'm building for someone else, I will try to get a Russian subject of some kind on the bench!

Beautiful model, John. And wide...  Shocked Some years ago, the AMT kit was very cheap in Italy, but that time is end now.
