HI

seeems the Tu-2S and Tu-2VS are out, but has anyone seen the sprue shots....because, in this review
http://www.aeroscale.co.uk/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=article&sid=11831

note this sprue

which has a load of parts you need for any version AND the torpedos....[assume sprue is x2 as well]
what I really want to know is do the GPW era kits have the torpedos, and what kind of torpedos are they, are they the same type as used by Boston's?  If they are spares in the earlier versions and are the same type as below that will save finding or making one.

drawings and info on types on the Bostons are here. http://sovietwarplanes.com/board/index.php?topic=1007.0

anyone know if the same as on the Tu-2T?

thanks

Hi Troy,
here are some things (in Russian) about Soviet torpedoes on Tu2. I suppose you can find something here.http://yandex.ru/yandsearch?text=%D1%82%D0%BE%D1%80%D0%BF%D0%B5%D0%B4%D0%BD%D1%8B%D0%B9+%D0%BF%D1%80%D0%B8%D1%86%D0%B5%D0%BB+%D0%BF%D1%82%D0%BD-5&clid=1864187&lr=75

HI Massimo

thanks for that, I really shouln't post at 4 am!

A look at the Airwar.ru through translate says the torpedoes are
Quote
torpedoes 45-36-AN
and the Boston drawings say '45-36-AN' without the long stabiliser so that looks promising  Cheesy

Now... do the Tu-2S and Tu-2VS kits have the torpedoes as spares?   I know the Tu-2T has most [all?] the parts needed to build a GPW era Tu-2 though.
http://www.network54.com/Forum/149674/thread/1342739778/Xuntong+Tu-2T+canopy+question----

also has some info on the nose curve by Sergey Kosachev of Vector.   Some good pics well worth saving.

cheers
