Title: Soviet Bombers/Fighters of the Second World War Post by: Mark Proulx on August 08, 2023, 10:00:24 PM Just received both books and they look good. Plenty of text, photos, maps, color profiles and appendices. Hardcover, over 300 pages each. I am not in a position to comment on accuracy of the material within, but they should be an interesting read, at least to this uninitiated student.
Does anyone have opinions on these two books by Jason Moore? Mark Proulx Title: Re: Soviet Bombers/Fighters of the Second World War Post by: Troy Smith on August 12, 2023, 10:35:42 PM Hi Mark
Jason Moore is a regular poster here for many years, as learstang, so he been aware of various topics and debates, Massimo Tessitori did the profiles in Jason's Il-2 book. This place is the best English language site on the subject, and a lot of useful debate and research has been done, including many posters who are Russian, or speak Russian, so can provide accurate translations. AFAIK the books are goods and accurate overviews of the subjects. If you want indepth discussion and details, there is masses of that here, may take a little digging to find. Yet, I have never seen a copy of that book.
