Back to EP210, "538":
I was always intrigued by the overpainting of the arrow on the sides of the fuselage (see
http://lend-lease.airforce.ru/english/articles/spit/) - What might be the reason for the vertical streak of paint, in front of the canopy? Obviously, it doesnt go with the shape of the original arrow. Was the paint pot dumped by the painter and did he try to make the best of it? Also, the front part of the arrow looks like being overpainted, while the paint of the rear part seems to have been removed.
P.S.: If someone intends to build a model of "538", note that the tail fin was repaired and that it's leading edge has a straight profile now! (rather than the original curved one)
