Well done, Audrius. Thanks! The last image should need some restoration, who knows who bought it? He could be interested. Massimo

Hi Audrius, very beautiful images. Thank you for sharing them. The second one has Soviet markings, has it to do with Yugo AF too? And the third one with the star on the spinner? Massimo

hi Massimo! The second one has Soviet markings, has it to do with Yugo AF too? And the third one with the star on the spinner? I don't know for sure, but the a/c with Soviet star on board could mean both- VVS and Yugo AF. The russian has given their a/c over to Yugo's, so this could be at the moment of their tranfer. Most probably it is from 236 IAD. They gave over a lot Yaks. BR Audrius

I am now the proud owner of this one: Nice purhase! Congratulations John! Any clue which type of I-16 it is? I am not strong on this a/c. But juding from the spinner it should on of the later types, IMHO type 18 or 24. Perhaps looking at better scan it could possible to define the place of air intake, to check the lower exhausts etc in order to define exact type of this IshakDue to bended blades, the pilot has landed with running engine.
