Title: interior color in a Polikarpov U-2 in 1944 ? Post by: xan on March 28, 2013, 09:47:40 AM Hello,
I'm preparing a new project, the second Normandie Niemen's U-2 piloted by Jean de Pange in the second campaign of 1944: (http://i22.servimg.com/u/f22/10/06/04/48/po2-de10.jpg) (http://nsm08.casimages.com/img/2013/03/18//13031812224314768310984363.jpg) for the interior parts, do I have to paint it in lignt blue, as the mig-3 or I-16 ? For planes made after 1938 use gray A-14. Same with I-16s - gray for all models made from 1938 (say from type 10 and later) MiG-3 cockpit is still questionable - floor and seat on one wreck are gray, sides of the plane in the museum in Finland are reportedly light blue.
