Title: It doesn't fly... Post by: JP on December 20, 2012, 02:09:39 AM But it IS Russian! I couldn't help myself, so I ordered one of these. 1/350 Sevastopol battleship. Maybe one day I'll even get to build it!

a nice piece of plastic and metal. I read in one modeller magazine that if some is tired from a "lot of" details in 1:48 planes he should build ship in 1:350 where everything is much smaller and in much bigger quantities. Then coming back to 1:48 planes is just a relax ;) I will be happy to see your Sevastopol finished one day. Happy modeling. 66misos PS: It can fly, at least piece by piece after a huge internal ammunition magazines explosion :) Title: Re: It doesn't fly... Post by: JP on December 21, 2012, 10:06:26 PM It must be that I'm at a Naval institution making me want to build ships...

impressive model. Has it a lot of metal pieces, or it's just my impression? Regards Massimo Title: Re: It doesn't fly... Post by: JP on December 22, 2012, 08:19:42 PM That is the extensive photo etch set along with metal guns. To do a ship "right" these days requires such an effort.
