Za Rodinu!  Za Pobeda!  I like the shots of the ISU-152's, the "Beast Killer", so-called because it killed Tigers, Panthers, and Elephants.  I don't do much armour, but I'd really like to do one of these in 1/72nd scale, perhaps as part of a diorama.  Hard to find though.  Not to keep beating a very dead horse, but I keep seeing all these Eastern Front German weapons, like their aeroplanes and their armour, but not very much of the Soviet equipment.  Kind of makes you wonder who the Germans were fighting in Eastern Europe.  Or who beat them.

Regards,

Jason

The date was June 24, 1945.  Event is known as the "Victory Parade".
Movie of the same name was the first Soviet colour movie.  It was filmed on German Agfa film and it was developed in Berlin labs.

Oops - my mistake! I should have known that they'd still be doing more important things than having parades on May 9!   :-[

Yes, like fighting the die-hard Nazi forces in Bohemia and Moravia, which battle lasted until May 11.  Thank you for the links, Konstantin!
