Hi all
(i did this on the invision site, but as this one is up aagin..)
I know that photos of Mig15's flown by VVS Pilots in the Korean war are rare, I'm wondering if there is any information on the colours used to camouflage the Migs?
The profiles I have seen show green/sand uppers over blue undersurfaces, has any better information surfaced? From what I have seen these were field applied schemes?
Any more photos? i got a download of an out of print Russian book on the Mig15 that had a few photos but that's about all I have seen. (pdf on other computer, when I get chance i'll post pics)
Some of these photos are in the Osprey Mig aces book if I remember correctly.
there are some profiles here.
http://www.acig.org/artman/publish/article_317.shtmlWould Mig 15's of this era still be in A-14 Grey inside, or would the switch the the turquoise colour have started? (what is the proper name for this?)
Just I have seen colour photos of Mig 15's showing both colours is why i ask.
any relevant information or pics would be of use.
Thanks
T
