Title: Interesting films
Post by: JP on August 21, 2011, 07:21:43 PM
Don't know if this has been already posted, but I've been watching stuff of interest to me in order to help my re-study of Russian language.  I found this 5 part series, and found some very interesting things in here, so I decided to post it.

On youtube this is a 5 part series from a show called Wings of Russia.  I'll post the link for 1/5, and from there you can find the other 4.  This particular episode is on GPW (ВПВ).

Thank you for the link, John!  I have seen some shows from this series, including (everybody together now) one on the IL-2, but this one, on the fighters, I hadn't seen.  Although my Russian is far too limited to understand more than a few words here and there, I can at least look at the pretty pictures.

Regards,

Jason

Nice links. I've followed the one on the Tu-2 movie and obtained some interesting screenshots  on the topic of its camouflage.

нельзя смотреть фильмы на английском во время изучения русского языка!

The others can, though, I suppose.   :)

Hi Tiso,
thank you for the links.
I've seen this and obtained screenshots

There are some color parts: one with flying Tu-2s with camo; the other one shows a strange Il-2 wreck, camouflaged in 1943 style but apparently a single-place or a trainer very damaged. About min.32, I think. These images deserve to be seen. By the way, the brown utilized doesn't look at all a light brown.

About the Il-2: I have just known that it's from a movie of the late '70s, so colors are not reliable.
