Title: Safanov's I-16

Trying to decipher conflicting information on his I-16. Begemot decals has it as type 28 with a large white '51' 0n the fuselage. Other references have it as type 24 'white 51' on the fin with 'death to fascists' on the fuselage. At least the sources have the same tactical number! Any help in deciphering this would be most appreciated. Thanks.
