I'm finishing Alksnis I-5 (ICM) and work on Pavlov's I-4 (Nakotne) is well underway, so I was wondering if anything at all is known about them, other than their position within the Air Force and the planes they flew. Things like what were their full names, their aviation background and what became of them. Looked for it on the net but there's almost nothing about their lives. Thanks! Javier. Title: Re: J. Have to assume it was post WW1 civil war most likely & a captured aircraft by the red army.

One of these days I need to do an early Bolshevik model, maybe one with some of those unusual Bolshevik markings (like black stars!). If nothing else, they're nice and small models.

That'll come in handy. Great pictures as well on the thread, those F.2b and Camel look awesome. Thank the modeling gods I managed to get the 1/72nd decal sheet for the Nieuports. Their variety is lovely. All the best, Javier. |
