Title: Are the South Front Yak-1 and Modesvit Yak-1 the same kit?

I was just going to ask but I thought I'd better have a check first.

which got me these two sets of sprues

SF kit here
http://www.ipmsdeutschland.de/FirstLook/South_Front/SF_Jak-1/SF_Jak-1.html

Modelsvit kit here
http://hobbyterra.com/product/unassembled-plastic-model-yak-1-early-modelsvit-4803.html

The sprues look the the same, so I presume they are both the same basic kit?   Or have I missed something?

thanks
T

I've checked this several months ago with the guy from Armory which is a close friend to the maker of Modelsvit and he said that it was a new model. But I'm not sure if that's true. ???

Without having either kit in hand, the sprues appear to be identical.

I recently sprung for a Tu-2S and Modelsvit yak-1 courtesy of ebay,  as i got the yak-1 for just over 10GBP I'm reasonable happy, so can supply the answer at some point in the not too distant future
....the Tu-2 cost me more,  but no more than getting it from China and avoiding  gambling on being hit by customs....

For those wondering what I'm on about....
the UK post can charge you VAT [value added tax, currently 20%] on items from outside the EU over a certain value, 15GBP i think  but the Post Office charge you 8GBP for the pleasure of collecting this from you, there has been much wailing and gnashing of teeth about this regarding Wingnut Wings, and PO charges...

cheers
