Title: Zvezda 1/48 La-5 in progress Post by: jonbius on April 27, 2013, 09:59:57 PM I've added the initial paint to my Zvezda La-5. This is the first Zvezda kit I've built, and I'm very impressed with it's detail and fit. Paints are Akan. Up next will be weathering and decals.

Have you met fitting problems of any kind? Nothing major. Because of the breakdown of the cowl pieces, you have to be careful with alignment, And I did use small bits of gap filler here and there. But nothing major- the fit has been very good overall. Any additions like PE set? No, it's OOB with the exception of seatbelts. I rarely if ever use PE. |
