Very well made. The instruction sheet is particularly clear, showing each part both before and after the assembly. It's the first time I see this style.

Unfortunately the project I-153 closed.

Lavochkin La-5F, first cast. 1/72 full resin kit. 63 parts . Decal over 30 variants. Two different clear resin canopy, and two different stabiliser options. Set allows you to build any version of La-5F, with reduced fuselage fairing, with all the differences in series: from 28 to 32 series, from 33 to 37 series, from 38 to 55 series.

Thanks! No Massimo. Shutters will be in photoetching set from Gonza.
In my set, they are not provided. For two reasons:
a) they would have gotten bad, from the resin.  I do not do Photoetching. And I can't to order nowhere etching.
b) are not always closed shutters on the airplane, considering the thermal regime of the engine, they were more open than closed.

Well, the open intake for the engine is much more interesting. Nearly all other kits in 1/72 have closed shutters to simplify the mould.

Please note that there is no antenna mast. And the front of the hood is the color red as it seems to me.

Hi  Musa,
my guess is that the front ring was medium grey on the earlier plane, and then was repainted dark grey. Besides I think to see only white and red on the spinner of the second one, and an only white band on its tail. The dark grey band on the fuselage looks to have covered the factory painted number, and the band on the tail looks to have covered the factory painted star.
Again, I guess that the spinner of the first version could appear white as his LaGG-3, and as a base for the stripes of the last version.
Are there other sources on this plane?

Hi Walker,
We discussed photos above in the thread about Galchenko's La-5F, link is in my post above. Stripe on the tail looks same single-color (white?, silver?) as the "board" bellow the cockpit. No victory stars are visible on the board.

On photographs of this quality, I would not judge any of the colors, nor any of the bands on the victory sign. I think people who painted color profiles have better quality photos.

The magazine says that the archive photo from V.A. Kriklenko.  Unfortunately I do not know him.

Author of the article in the magazine, Yuri Rybin from Murmansk. He writes in his article that the plane with stripes and stars victories participated as such in the "Victory Parade" 06.24.1945.

Bykov... maybe you could contact him to know more. Or maybe, Rybin could have the file with a scan of the original photo.

Beautiful model indeed.
The idea to make the wheels is interesting. I have to test if it functions on other planes. Only, it requires wheels divided in two parts... not easy.

Thank you! At low speeds, the plane had problems with stabiliti in the longitudinal axis. At medium and high speeds, the aircraft was stable. During the tests, the keel of the aircraft was increased by 30% and after that, problems with the stability was not. Maximum speed was 343 km / h with engine Renault 4P, 140 hp. But the most remarkable thing about it, was the first to fly the aircraft in the world with a delta wing.

Hi!
This aircraft was built in 1940. This is a single seat fighter trainer. The testers noted his good aerobatic characteristics. To improve the acceleration characteristics recommended to install MV-6A aircraft engine and test again. But in beginning of the war, all work was stopped on the TI-28.
