Title: Monino Tu-2 walkaround (recommanded) Post by: Massimo Tessitori on October 07, 2013, 11:11:53 AM Hi,
Pete has found an exceptional walkaround on the Tu-2 in Monino museum. http://igor113.livejournal.com/71576.html (http://igor113.livejournal.com/71576.html) The photos of the cockpit show very well the original colors. In some areas of the cockpit, such as the port console, you can see very well how the A-14 is painted over the ALG-1 primer.

Tha's what I needed. :D Title: Re: Monino Tu-2 walkaround (recommanded) Post by: Massimo Tessitori on October 08, 2013, 01:43:40 PM Hi Jason, hi Michel,
those photos show light blue repaintings, particularly on a panel on the right side. Probably it is a relatively well preserved A-28m, slightly greenish but not too much. The repaintings on the frames of the windows under the nose look made with the same unaccurate blue of the outsides. Yes I'm busy with the Tu-2T but I didn't have the exact cockpit colors. So any help is very welcome. I'm not such a die hard in research.... ::) Title: Re: Monino Tu-2 walkaround (recommanded) Post by: Massimo Tessitori on October 12, 2013, 07:21:09 PM Hi Michel,
well, the one in Monino is fundamentally grey A-14. Could you keep us informed on your Tu-2, please? Regards Massimo |
