Title: Yak-7 "03", what color/pattern?
Post by: Bonehammer on February 06, 2014, 08:21:39 AM
About the Yak with the odd stripes on EP's site....

What do you think is the color used for the stripes themselves? The same "sand" color that is on the MiG-3 "white 54"?

Thank you in advance.
Bone

Hi,
if this is sand, the color could be AMT-4 over black and green. But looks too light. Am I wrong or the background is snowy? The man looks not heavily dressed, anyway. A wider photo could give some help.

It would be useful to know when, who, what unit, where.  Without this information entire exercise is pointless.
Not to mention the famous girl with her spray gun and two big loops - Pilawski was joking with his naive readers.   ;D
