If good these are very welcome....  i was contemplating hacking a Hobbycraft La-7 into one, or trying too.

anyone done any Mikro Mir kits?

A quick look on ebay has a seller with them for $31 plus shipping from Ukraine

As Mikro-Mir in general goes (here goes off topic) I did a few of their 1/350 soviet ww2 submarines or to be precise type S(series IXbis) (sold under AMP label) and type Sch (series Vbis-2) class. I have a couple more in my stash or to be precise 1 type K (series XIV) and 2 of type Schc (series Xbis and series X). A rather good short run kits if you don't have a problem with putty and sandpaper. Later models (boats of Sch class series Vbis-2, X and Xbis) have rather comprehensive PE frets included (while the early models only had basic PE parts) so they are a bit pricey. BTW series X and Xbis is a double kit (not sold seperatly). To complete the series I'm still searching for their (or AMP) Sch series III boat and i'm thinking of buying and converting a couple of Vbis-2 to series V and series Vbis boats (would have to significantly change the bow of the ship and conning tower).

As planes go I do have their Yak UT-1B in my stash. That one will neeed a lot of sanding (to get the wing trailing edges to normal thickness) and engine replacement would do well on this kit.
Hope this helps.

I've got the ut-2 too and i found the detail to be rather on the soft side.
