85 with an uncomplete white band seems likely: the numbers were applied in factory, and were the last two digits of the serial number. It's not impossible that there were two planes numbered 85 at the unit, and that a number 1 was painted to make them different. The noseless digit 1 is compatible with the font used on Lavockins. It would be good to find other photos of planes of the same unit to see if they had a white band.
