Title: Any Would-be Authors Out There? Post by: learstang on January 29, 2015, 04:26:58 AM My editor, Jay Slater of Fonthill Media (j.slater@fonthillmedia.com) is interested in any new authors out there. The publishing house he works for does quite a bit of aviation works, including the Second World War, and including VVS subjects (they're going to publish my book Il-2 Shturmovik: Red Avenger, which is supposed to be out this May). Incidentally, our very own Massimo Tessitori did the beautiful colour profiles for the book. If you have any ideas for appropriate books, just e-mail Mr. Slater at the above e-mail address. Currently I have contracts to do a book on the GPW Lavochkins, the Tu-2, the postwar Soviet Strategic bombers, and it looks like I'll soon have a contract for the U-2/Po-2. I had been working on a book on VVS colours, but I haven't worked on that in a while - it would be nice to see someone come out with an up-to-date book in English on VVS colours. It doesn't look like I'll be able to as I'm going to be busy in the next couple of years just meeting my contractual obligations.
