Title: AML 1/72 La-5 Chkalov Sqn Post by: John Thompson on June 08, 2015, 05:26:54 PM AML La-5 with "Valeriy Chkalov Squadron" donation aircraft markings. A pig of a kit - I hope the AZ/KP La-5 series happens soon. AML includes a vac canopy (plus a spare) which is inaccurate in shape; I discovered that the injected canopy from the VES/Cooperativa/Eastern Express/Maquette La-5 (or "LaG-5") is much more accurate and fits the AML fuselage with very little reshaping, so I used that instead.
