It should go without saying that spamming on this forum will not be tolerated.

This is a forum with a rather clearly stated purpose.  Why anyone would go through the trouble to register and then spam links to junk websites (probably loaded with spyware and viruses) is beyond me.  I guess clogging email accounts with spam alone isn't sufficient. 

So, I'll leave it with the statement that I have a special place in my heart for people like this - about the same as I have for thieves and liars.  Anyone posting spam here will have their post deleted with all possible haste, and the offending user's account will be deleted.  Period.  Please do not think this is a troublesome process - I can do both with a single click.

If this continues, I will take a look at making registration more arduous (if possible) so that only truly interested individuals will sign up and participate in this forum.
