Title: La-7 windscreen
Post by: warhawk on July 27, 2007, 06:04:55 PM
Is it just me or the windscreen of Eduard's 1/72 La-7 is really too wide?

I've heard this too. However I've 2 of those models and 1 vacuformed canopy, so I think that I'll ignore it.
An old friend of mine suggested that the shape of KP is more accurate.
I have both kit, but I never made a comparison till now.

This La-7 walkaround includes good shots of the windscreen (images 25 and 26) which might be helpful:

Here's a picture of the La-5FN cockpit

Did the La-7 have the same windscreen?
One more question - which is the early type La-7 - the 3 cannon or the 2 cannon version?

Hi, :)
I think it's similar, apart some frames. But I would look for photos of La-7 windshield, they are not rare.
