Hi,
very nice page to recognize the units, it helps to make order when observing a plane with regimental markings.
I hope to see a version in English soon.
Regards
Massimo

From different sources. The orders, if any avaliable.
About ftrs - mostly from famous Bykov.
Il-2 - from Massimo's pages.
Usually, I avoided to make a conclusion based on alone separate photo. The exclusions - when such photo supports the divisional/corps system (2 giap , 1 giap).

BTW Michal, thank you for that - http://wio.ru/simbols/iad5g.htm

Hi Vlad,
very well done.
Eventually, could you add one or two links to photos or to sites with the history of the unit to each sketch? It is a lot of work, but would help a lot.
Regards
Massimo

Thank you.
Now the translation is complete. Some tables improved, and few tables added.
Also I'm adding few subpages with full profiles a week.

Wow, great work and Merry Christmas (I was baptised by a Russian Orthodox priest - he was a U.S. Army chaplain - my father was in the U.S. Army)!

Best Regards,

Jason

BTW, does the browsers' translating plugins work bad?
