I need to find someone with some experience in site and forum maintenance to ask his idea on some small issues of the software SMF. The one that I've utilized with this forum is an old version because the more recent one gave some problems; anyway this gives small problems too. Please, let me know if anyone could help. the forum software had some problems yesterday. Now they are resolved, but I see that one or two posts of Januay 2 were lost while I reloaded a recent backup of the data base. it looks that the forum is functioning again. It stopped after a routine cleaning of some files. I've recovered a backup of some days before, so the latest posts have been lost. I hope that it's all well now. Thanks to Edward Russell for asking and collecting suggestions helping to resolve the thing.
