Any photos of this aircraft or is it a bogus item?

I've asked Alex, he says that photos of the emblems do exist, perhaps not of the whole plane. I hope that he'll send scans on next days.

Massimo

Thank you all so much for all of your help on this. I searched many Russian sites and came up empty.

I don't have any photographs, but I'm always sceptical about yellow surrounds on the red stars. Even though you see this quite a bit in profiles, I don't think the Soviets used yellow much during most of the GPW because it was the Axis identification colour, and using it would be an invitation to have a friendly fire incident.

Regards,

Jason

Hi,
Alex says that none photo is available of both. Ten years ago, someone wrote that a photo of 8 do exist in an archive but it wasn't possible to reproduce it.  It's better to have not confidence in these profiles.

Massimo
