Would like to ask why the cockpit access door is dark rather than a lighter color one would expect for a cockpit interior? Thanks!

I think that the inside of the door was painted green as the outside because it was very visible from above when opened. It looks even darker, it could be a matter of less fading because of minor exposition to the sun.
