Post by: John Thompson on November 08, 2005, 10:51:46 PM I'd love to see a *new* 1/72 MiG-3, or any GPW VVS fighter for that matter, from Revell, but I'd be very surprised if this has anything to do with Trumpeter. In fact, it might just be a reboxing of the RPM kit, or the horrible old Cap Croix du Sud MiG-3 which Italeri (Revell's partner in crime) reissued about 10 or 12 years ago. Let's hope it's brand new, but I'm very suspicious!

I suppose that about Mig-3 1/72 from Trumpeter is only on the level of rumour not more. I don't see a reason why not to announce for Trumpeter that Mig-3 is upcoming if the one what announces Revell is made by them! I see that Revell did things well in last years. Their MiG-21 was a surprise for me (more for their choice to make it new than for its typical Revell good quality), and I sometimes dream a whole series of warplanes, including jets, from them.
