Did he fly a D-2 Bort 138520 'White 100' with about thirty victories on engine cover? I know he flew a later version 'White 100'. Thanks.

Hello,

Pokryshkin flew P-39D-2-BE "white 17", 41-38520 on May 28, 1943 for a single mission... His personnal mount at this time was P-39K-1-BE "white 13", 42-4421 from 9.04.43 to 20.06.43. Apparently, it appears that the planes flown by Pokryshkin no wore victory markings.
