Title: Grigorii Rechkalov's P-39D-2 'white 40' Post by: nimbus109 on April 19, 2010, 02:42:46 AM I have info from the Mushroom P-39 book that Grigorii Rechkalov flew a P-39D-2 'white 40' in the Kuban campaign I believe. He was prolific scoring most of his 56 kills in the Airacobra, so I figure he had success with this D-2 as well. Does anyone have any info this plane and its history with Rechkalov? Thanks.
