As I understand from the text, the place is Severodvinsk. Amazingly preserved bird  :-X

Hi Aleksandar,
thank you for posting. The photos are excellent, and in some pieces the external color is perfectly preserved. Who knows if this happen for surfaces in contact to the ground better than on those exposed upwards?

I see that crew was still in the plane. RIP
Did they managed to indentify them?

Hi Tiso,
for what I've understood from the automatic translation, they went there already knowing that the plane was fallen. So, the names are written in archives.

The human remains belong to Jan Komarichev who was gunner-radio operator.
And yes, they say that surfaces laying on the ground are very well preserved.
That star looks so fresh! And we probably see AE-9 gray (?) applied over ALG-1 primer.
Cheers,
Mario

Part 2 and more photos at http://nnm.ru/blogs/shamba/hronika_propavshego_bombardirovshika_-_prodolzhenie/page6/#comments

End of this wreck is quite frustrating:  few details ended up in private collections and in the regional museum, but the rest went to scrap metal...

Is there any comment on Russian forums? Maybe someone obtained at least some piece of well preserved grey paint...
However, from the photos, it looks more or less as the grey of F-15 or MiG-31.
