Title: Amazing MiG-3 Photo Post by: John Thompson on March 20, 2011, 09:51:34 PM Oh sweet Niblets, in the words of Billy Ray Cyrus - what have we got here:

John Title: Re: Amazing MiG-3 Photo Post by: Massimo Tessitori on March 20, 2011, 10:14:56 PM Nice image. To tell the truth, even admitting that it was really painted so, I don't think that it flew with these colors.
Some other nice images at: http://vif2ne.ru/nvi/forum/0/print/145133.htm (http://vif2ne.ru/nvi/forum/0/print/145133.htm) The I-15bis looks to show numbers similar to the MiG-3, so I think that they were painted by the same people. Perhaps some show at the war's end... or a joke. The photos remind me a bit of the experimental camouflage tested on some LaGG-3s or I-16s. I like the shot of the I-15bis on skis!
