Here are some pictures of my finished P-40K.

I did use the resin tail from the AMTech kit grafted to the Hasegawa P-40E.
I will keep the AMTech kit to build a E later.

Colors mixes are from Tamiya:
Sky Grey Du Pont 71-021: XF-83
Dark Earth Du Pont 71-009: 50% XF-59 + 50% XF-52
Dark Green Du Pont 71-013: 50% XF-13 + 25% XF-5 + 25% XF-21

Congratulations Jean, you?ve done an excellent job in the P-40.I like the paintwork and weathering ?the cockpit interior is from the box or an aftermarket product?
Thanks for sharing it with us,greetings.

Nice work, Jean! It makes me think of a project I'd like to do some day, which is to convert a 1/72 Hasegawa P-40E to an aircraft having the Klimov M-105 engine. Your photos are also excellent!

That's the same as one of the P-40's I'm working on - it's complete except for the decalling and the small parts such as the propellers, landing gear, etc.  Mine came as a complete resin kit from LF, and it looks like it was based on the Hasegawa kit.  Not a bad little kit, but a bit pricey.

Guys,

thanks for your comments.

?the cockpit interior is from the box or an aftermarket product?
Nope. Straght from the box except for the seat belts.
