Just in case anyone missed it, translate.google.com is a very good translator. Not so hot if you try to get a whole web page, but it is startlingly good if you cut and paste blocks of text.
On long, text-heavy pages, you may get an initial section translating but text further down remains in the original language. Just click on the "Translate" bar again, and more text will be translated. On very long pages, you may have to do this several times, but it will eventually translate the whole page.
