A new kit or just another KP clone?

Almost certainly a re-kit of the old KP kit, unless Avis got a hold of the ICM mould for their new kit!  Interestingly, it depicts the very same individual PO-2 shown on the ICM site, although with a white "12" instead of ICM's yellow "12".

Regards,

Jason

This is a boxart of IOM-KIT U-2. I already mentioned it here:
http://sovietwarplanes.com/board/index.php?topic=925.0

It seems to be a bad copy of KP kit which has added all parts for Limusin (spine and cowling), hydro version (standard fuselage with big central and two small wing floats) and streacher pods.

I know that among other firms Modelist was producing it some time ago. IOM kit parts and decals are pictured on this site:
http://www.hobby.dn.ua/product_info.php?manufacturers_id=214&products_id=59132&osCsid=chpsn4bh2lps6ss087emdjrrc4

Worth buying if for nothing more for its additional parts. AFAIK it is the only kit with parts for limusin and hydro version. I got one and will now have to buy some new ICM kits when they are available.

Thank you for the information, TISO!  I'm looking forward to the ICM kit also.  Perhaps if it's successful they'll come out with additional versions.
