Hi,
I've updated the page by improving the drawings.

Looks good, Massimo!  A very interesting aeroplane; someday I'm going to try my hand on the Amodel kit.  I understand it's not the easiest kit in the world to build, but it's the only game in town.  My only real regret is that they don't also do the earlier variant with the asymmetrical cockpit.

Regards,

Jason

Hi Jason,
if I don't miss, Amodel makes two variants. I have one with side-by-side cockpit; how is the other one? Identical?
Unfortunately, the earlier variant has a lot of differences, to reproduce this one they should rebuild the mould  in nearly total way.

The other variant Amodel do I believe is a transport version of the second variant.  I think they would have to do another mould for the earlier variant.  I would probably buy that one in a second.

In this video there are some pic's of late Yer-2 in flight.
narration has nothing to do with the film. As i gather it is taken from training film and describes preflight check of a fighter:

Can't remember the manufacturer, but there was a vac and resin asymmetrical kit out, at one point. Yes, more work, but at least - unlike with the Amodel kit - you don't have to thin anything.  Cheesy

Hello, Matt - nice to see you're still around!  Here's a link to a build of the vacuformed early Yer-2 by Ken "Flankerman" Duffey - http://vvs.hobbyvista.com/Modeling/Ermolaev/Er-2/Legion/FullBuild/index.php  Enjoy!

I have that kit and i started a thread about here back when I bought it in '09 or '10. It's like the old Airfix kits except for the surface detail.
Very basic interior. It will keep me amused for a long time! It's an interesting and odd enough looking a subject so the attention it will bring will be worthy of the effort.
