Hi Michael, Smiley
interesting model again. I would like to know more.
One small thing: on my photos, the canopy doesn't rotate upwards while sliding. I suggest to check its position on the model.
Would you translate your page as you did for other ones, please? It would be welcomed.

Hi Michael: Don take me wrong, but in the photos that I have of this machine of Kostylev, the shape of the theet are wrong in fact the third from the begining of the mouth is a spike not a theet.
The cone of the propeller is yellow not white, The badge of the Moscow guards is bigger as well as the star of the fuselaje and the withe fifteen...

Regards

At least about teeth - the man who painted them did All teeth rounded, the usual photos of G. Kostylevs La it's after-war re-paint which used to be in Leningrad defence museum (it was disbanded in late 50-s as a @stalinist exposition@ ) No photos of war period are known to me.

Rodrigo planes you talking about is very famous, but it is a Kostylev's gift plane, not usually battle

I am update article with new photos & big text of my logical exercises for restoring painting of battle plane :-)

You can see bad auto translate of this articles - http://translate.google.com/translate?u=http%3A//scalemodels.ru/articles/138.html&langpair=ru%7Cen&hl=en&ie=UTF8

I beg your pardon for bad quality of translating

Not that this kind of painting based for circumstantial and my logic and possible contains errors

Best wishes & good luck!

Hi Michael, Smiley
the article looks interesting, but the bad translation makes it nearly impossible to be understood. Undecided
It would be nice to have an English version for publication, if you have time to do this.
