Hello!
a friend of mine started the Sukhoi Su-5 at 1/72 scale.

I don't know much about post war colors but I know that some fighters were painted in gree/blue AMT-4 (AGT-4) /AMT-7 (A-28m) colours and some were painted in grey/blue AMT12/AMT-7

Do to you think that green could be the right colour for that prototype or grey would be better ?

I don't know if these can be applied to prototypes. I would go with green.

From the few photos I've seen, it seems pretty much certain that the colours were AMT-4 Green above and AMT-7 Blue below. This page is as good as any:

Самолет Су-5 имел сверху зеленую окраску, снизу - светло-голубую (поверхность матовая).
Plane had green top and light blue undersides (matt surface)

This info is from 1975 Modelist-Konstruktor text by N. Gordyukov: http://mkmagazin.almanacwhf.ru/avia/su_5.htm

Author is an authority, but colors/camouflage could have been B/W photo interpretation?Huh?
From the same author and from the same times:

Although, photographic reference shows that some Su prototypes were camouflaged
