hello friends
on the site dedicated for lend-lease (http://lend-lease.airforce.ru/english/index.htm)  a new article has been published. This time the recovery of nice P39 from the lake in North of Russia in 2004: http://lend-lease.airforce.ru/english/articles/sheppard/p39/index.htm

A very detailed history description of this Aircobra and fate of the pilot.

Happy reading!

Hi, Smiley
Great photo! Thanks for the link.
Pity that none finds MiGs and LaGGs in such conditions. Probably because they were widely done by steel and wood.
