Hello everybody,

A friend of mine did that decals for me.
Before he prints them, I would like to know if the red colour seems you right:

iit's a blood red , not very bright...
I send him those pics as reference:

Hi Xan,
the color looks good. I would suggest to make red stars of more various sizes. I'm tracing profiles of Il-2s now, and I see that their size changes from plane to plane.

thanks massimo.
the size of the stars are OK for the four yak-9 I'm doing (three and one to repaint) and for the I-153 in project.

Looks good, xan! I like the way you're doing the panel on top of the cowling (and others) as shown on page 12 of your thread from the Master194 forum. Keep up the good work - it's great to see some Yak-9 models getting built!

Colour of the red star was the same red colour of the national flag!!!

from http://www.comm-art.ru/12s-su.htm
CMYK - C0/M100/Y100/K0
Pantone - на мелованной и немелованной бумаге применяйте 485 цвет (485c, 485u)
Pantone 485 = 50% Pantone Yellow + 50% Pantone Rubine Red
RGB - R230/G0/B0
Web - E60000

also check  http://www.vexillographia.ru/russia/index.htm

I get RGB = R255/G0/B0

Hope this helps...  Smiley

Hm, ... hard to say...  the smaller flag one is probably closer to the usual, but the lower one is also convincing...Huh  it also depends on monitor (my is not calibrated  Lips Sealed)

Your red is too dark, but nothing too serious...
