From the cowling, that looks like an La-5F. That does look like white on the topsides, except for the cowling, which looks somewhat darker. Interesting photographs.

Did the Soviets keep records from the factory's with the aircraft that were painted with sponsors as in the link by Massimo?

If so I noticed that the tactical numbers were also painted on as well in some instances.  Would they possibly have what squadrons got the specific models as in the bubble top canopy LA-5 & the numbers that were painted on them when they left the factory?
