Experiences of Hobbyshop.ru anyone?

Does anyone have any go or bad experiences of using Hobbyshop.ru on the web? I placed a small order with them recently for shipment to the UK (as an experiment) and was wondering what to expect?

They do have a website in several alternate language unfortunately the English side only appears to extend to a few small areas of product descriptions hence it was difficult to place the Order and navigate through the Payment Options. There was no indication of Postage and Packaging Rates. There appeared to be no options for Air or Ground Mail. This didn't really engender great faith in me!

I thought I read on this forum or elsewhere that they were considered favourabley within our community...?

It's possible you're thinking of Hobbyshop.cz (note the "cz" suffix) as the "good guys" - I've dealt with this shop a couple of times and got excellent results. Excellent followup, fast response to e-mails, generally great customer service.
