Hello:

I would like to know if there were any IAP flying Lend-Lease birds (Hurricane,Kittyhawk,...) involved in the battle for Stalingrad.Thanks in advance,greetings.

Hi, I think I can help you a bit.
Early stages of battle and 235 IAD consisting of 46, 191, 436 and 180 IAP. All equiped in Hurricanes, entered 8. VA in June of 1942. Unit was annihilated. On 1st August the whole 8 VA had only 11 Hurricanes/3 combat ready, which were later destroyed/abandoned during the retreat at Kalch on Don.
P-40 - 126 IAP and 731 IAP PVO (120 IAD PVO) and 910 IAP (?).
