Hi,
Here is my kit of Yak-3 ProfiPACK in 1:48 from EDUARD http://www.eduard.com/store/Eduard/YAK-3-1-48.html?cur=2&listtype=search&searchparam=yak-3 flown by Major Boris. N. Yeryomin (or Jeryomin), commander of the 31st GIAP.
Info about pilot and plane is taken from EDUARD instruction sheet and from Wikipedia.

I did not do any corrections, kit is build OOB.

I already posted some info and pictures in the different threads here in sovietwarplanes.
Here I consolidated it plus added link to ARC http://www.aircraftresourcecenter.com/Gal12/11701-11800/gal11707-Yak-3-Sekula/00.shtm where you can find full article.

AKAN AMT11/12/7 coat was an attempt to imitate "splinter" NKAP scheme applied (sprayed) freehand in factory. Inspired by a lot of photos on internet and that known one showing landed N-N Yaks from the top.

Decals even very thin, are not translucent. Small parts are made of two separate layers. When placed carefully, result is very nice. However, challenge is just to put one very thin layer over another very thin layer. In this case each white and red stripe on the propeller star was separate decal. So I pained red star and then applied white and red stripes.
