Hi,

I received the Yak-1b from Modelsvit and by reading the construction pages there is an option to open both sides at the cockpit area so you could see all the wiring and inner structure.
I've seen this been done on models in contests. This seems a little different then standard and I was wondering if this would have been done in the field for maintenance? I never came across such a picture.
So if anyone has one that would be great.

Hi Michel,
I've seen this on a lot of MiG-3s. I'll see if I can find images of Yak-1 too.

This may also be helpful:

(Ignore the wing root intakes - they're from a Yak-3)

Hi John and Michel,
this is a great walkaround. Pity that it's so difficult to save images from it.

It seems when opening the link I receive an error that a script is running? Huh

I've never seen that, so I don't know what causes it. It's a Russian-language forum thread and it does take longer than usual to open because there are so many images on one page. Try again, perhaps?  Huh

Hi,
I had a problem with a script running too, but after 2 or 3 threads read.
