Hi, Smiley
again thanks to Oleg, we have these images:

Who can translate the inscription? Could it have something to do with n.932 "Socialist Georgia" of 88 IAP?

Thank you Marcin Smiley
Oleg, I've heard that a plane with a number 914 should be visible on the same movie. Could you try to find a shot, please? And of the final part of this writing?

I'll look for it on holydays, although i'm sure that no pictures of final part present in my copy - it is covered by a group of people, so that only first letters visible.

"Sovemska Terooz..." No Idea what that means, but pretty sure it's the english version sounds for the writing. And it doesn't say Georgia in Russian!

hello
nice stills Massimo!
Laggs "Soviet Georgia" are from 926 IAP. On the left port (as in your pictures) it was in Russian written and on the right port it was in Georgian as Lagg-3 nr932

Wow, she really is a beauty! Do you know what production mark it is (1-100?) or if decals exist for such a nice Georgian LaGG Tongue? I'm not expecting you to know all about it as it appears to be a new subject to all of us Shocked.

Hi, Smiley
the version should be the final one, often conventionally referred as series 66, if we want to use the designation reported on kits and on "LaGG-3 in action".
Decals for this plane should be included in the resin 1/48 model kit by Vector.

Ok, thanks. I have an Eastern Express LaGG-3 (33) but I wanted to paint it like this. Maybe if I bought a '66' I could attempt to print my own decals (I have often wondered but never tried) if 1/72 scale decals don't exist. It's a fine looking plane Cheesy.
