Really nice kits. I remember to have seen something posted here. Is the R-10 a resin or vaku kit? Regards Massimo

Thanks, Musa! The I-207 kits and the R-3eT look really interesting.
Massimo - The R-10 is resin.

Hi John, thank you for your quick answer. Do you know where it can be found and the price, just to have an idea? Regards Massimo
Hi Massimo - I don't know of any on-line hobby shops which sell the Airkits products; I'm sure there must be some in Russia. Maybe Musa has the answer to that. I bought some of Kajuk's kits (his real name is Aleksandr Kozyrev) about a year ago, and purchased them directly from him. That was one of the things that led me to the Contact funds transfer system. See this thread for the details: http://sovietwarplanes.com/board/index.php?topic=1157.0It would be good if these kits were more available - I wish Linden Hill would stock them, for example. I'd like to buy the R-3eT kit, but I haven't decided yet. At the time I first contacted him (May, 2011), Aleksandr's price for the R-10 was $35 US, but that might have changed by now. Cheers! John (That's strange - something I did seems to have caused your post to disappear - I'm sorry! Very odd... )

Thank you for posting, Musa! The Neman R-10 and the Grigorivich IP-1 are two I'd like to have.
Regards,
Jason

Hi John, don't worry, probably I've made something wrong in editing it. But' isn't there a kit of I-207 of Amodel? Regards Massimo

R-Z, not R-3eT. this was supposed to be written with cyrillic R (identical to P) and latin Z. Since typewriters didn't have Z, plane designation was commonly transcribed into R-Zet.

Hi Massimo - yes, Amodel makes the I-207/3, which is the final version which had retractable landing gear (Pavla also released a kit of the I-207/3). The I-207/1 and I-207/2 had fixed landing gear with streamlined fairings covering the wheels. To me, these seem much more attractive than the I-207/3 - they look like 1930's Bendix Trophy racing aircraft. John

That's pretty funny - I guess that's why the "R-3eT" looks so much like the Polikarpov R-Z! Thanks, Konstantin! John

I'd forgotten about the Che-2; although rather obscure, that is a handsome flying boat. I wouldn't mind having one of those - oh, just give me the entire lot!

Jason
