Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.

Hi Otto,
very nice build, I like especially weathering.
However, I am surprised with the color of the undersurfaces. It looks white, I thought it was light blue. Huh What color is on the top front engine cover? Dirty white or silver/NMF?

Thank you 66misos!
I followed this reference:
http://mig3.sovietwarplanes.com/mig3/black36.html
It comes from highly magnified pictures and it seems, as on other airframes, that the undersurfaces were white.
It seems likely that the dark panel on the starboard side of the fuselage was green, and I supposed it was not on the port side. But who knows about the nose upper panel? Was it gray? Silver? Light blue? Pink? Was it only some picture's effect? Unfortunately, this is not the best documented of all the MiG-3s, but I strongly wanted that gorgeous star on the spinner! Grin
