I just re-read the August Eduard Info, and realized it was written right there in black and white on page 5:

"in November, the 1/48th scale La-5FN (Zvezda)"

So, the La-5FN is definitely the Zvezda kit. That is great - except I have a Zvezda kit in the stash still with AML decals, Vector resin and Eduard photo etch, so I will probably give the Eduard a skip, depending on what accessories and decals they release with it. Still, the Zvezda La-5FN mold is a fantastic starting point.

I can't find anything in either the August or September Eduard Info, but I still think the La-7 will be the Gavia kit. Eduard has already re-released the Gavia kit in three different boxings that I am aware of, so it is very likely if they re-release the La-7 it will again be the Gavia. Of course, the Gavia is not perfect, but probably the best kit to start with in 1/48 scale without creating a completely new mold (now that would be something...)

This I found at Czech forum http://www.modelforum.cz/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=68170&start=3270#p1503816 about Eduard La-5FN:

1.) rebox from Zvezda + Cartograf decals + painted PE parts +resin wheels
2.) camouflages:

Still no info about La-7.

Hi,
I've found another interesting thing on the same forum.
http://www.modelforum.cz/download/file.php?id=894107
A new kit of Po-2 in 1/48.
Interesting painting schemes too, but I think that the green/brown variant should be the grey/grey camouflage introduced in 1945 for non-fighter planes too.

@Massimo
A still have to buy a Po-2 but AZ Models are known to be not so good kits.
Unless that the Po-2 is the Eduard model?

Yes, the Eduard should be a reboxing of Gavia, but I don't know well it.
I thought that AZ were good, but I haven't so much experience of them. It would be strange if they make a kit worse than existing ones. I am interested to read a review when the kit will be released.
It caught my attention mainly for the two-shades camouflage; it is represented in this way in a Czech monograph, but the photos are more or less compatible with the grey-grey template of 1945, and I worked on a page on this argument few days ago.

Michel, I don't know about their 1/48th scale kits, but I think the AZ kits are good short-run kits in 1/72nd scale (I have several of them).  Short-run kits are often badmouthed by people who expect them to be of Tamiya quality.  Interestingly, these people don't apply the same high standards when they review and/or build vacuform kits, however.

I see the Eduard reboxing of the Zvezda La-5FN is now available:
http://www.eduard.com/store/Eduard/La-5FN-1-48.html?force_sid=4571ad5e08f150fc9d814497dd2a9228

The instruction sheet can be downloaded directly here, also showing the colour schemes that they offer:
