GST was Catalina produced under licence in SSSR.

I'm looking for pics/drawings/colour profiles of these planes, but can't find nothing.

I intend to modify Academy Cat into one but would need info on differences from standard US produced Catalina types.

It was pointed to me that a good reference for modifications would be this set of drawings:
http://www.airwar.ru/other/draw/catalina.html

So it was early type i.e. one with rounded tail flush waist gun positions (well my PBY-5 wil now get dutch markings). And from last photo provided here green-black camo. Interestingly this plane is really a black hole in regards of information, photos, colour profiles etc. What bugs me that all internet sources say that GST was licence produced PBY-5 (reason for me getting that one) and not earlier versions.

Basicly i would have to get me an early version.

Now we are getting somewhere. It was pointed out to me that magazine AVIONS No.142 (jan.2005) and No.143 (feb.2005) had a story about GST and No. 148 (nov.-dec. 2005) and No.149 (jan.2005) had a story about PBN & PBY-6 by Vladimir Kotelnikov.

"Model Aircraft Monthly" translated the whole GST thing into english in vols. 6, #2 and 6, #3.
